Strange. People *want* this and want it under the guise of being “open.” However, the only selling point I keep hearing about Android is the amazing animated wallpapers (Windows 98 wants its Active Desktop back) and ability to directly download ringtones. Wow. These features absolutely make it worth it to buy underpowered resource hogs that can get infected as easily as Windows. By underpowered, I mean, typical Android phones do not scroll fluidly without having at least a quad-core CPU. That’s a sad OS. Sadder? Benchmarks from the dual-core A6 spank or just meet the benchmarks of these quad-cores.
“Wow, I can’t wait to hire 4 employees to do the work of 2!” said no businessman ever.
